Moses H. Cone Memorial Park is one of the most popular attractions of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Park offers over 500 acres of rolling farmland and hilltop mountains. The park is full of over 20 miles of interconnecting horse and hiking trails. There are two different mountain tops that you can hike to. One is Rich Mountain and the other is Flat Top Mountains with an observation tower that gets you above the tree line for beautiful views of Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge. There are a number of small lakes in the area that offer great fishing for everyone. During the falls months this is one of the most popular places to see the leafs change.
